I’ve already posted about the City Futures Centre research on strata title and will do so some more in the future.
But, in the meantime if you’re a scheme executive or a strata manager you can have your say in their research by participating in their current surveys.
If you’re a scheme executive then the Survey of Executive Committee Members is for you and asks you about your experience and views about being in a strata scheme and involved in the executive. So far over 190 people have completed this and they need 1000 responses to make the research more credible.
If you’re a strata manager then the Strata Managers’ Survey is for you and asks you about your experience as a . So far over 54 managers have completed the survey and they need 200 responses to make the research more credible.
Both are open until September 2010 and if you participate you qualify for the chance to win a prize too (as well as feeling good about helping the strata sector).
So, why not tell the academics what you think and influence the future of strata ?
You can find out more about the City Futures Centre here, the current research project Governing the Compact City: The Role and Effectivenes of Strata Management in Higher Density Residential Developments here and about the clever people at UNSW here.

Thanks Francesco.
ReplyDeleteThe more people who answer the survey, the more weight our results will hold, and the more useful they will be in informing future changes and improvements in the strata sector in NSW.
