Take an Australia Wide Strata Tour with NCTI

There’s strata all around Australia but it’s not all the same.  Each state has separate and different title and legal systems about setting up, owning and running strata schemes.

So, it can be very confusing.

But NCTI has been publishing a Guide to help.

It’s called “How Different Are We ?  State by state comparison of strata and community title management” that compares how strata schemes run from state to state under the key management and operating areas.  The Guide is easy to follow but also points you to the applicable law in each instance.

The Guide was prepared by those good guys from Andreones, Lawyers (who sadly are no more) and there are 2008 and 2009 editions so far.

You can get copies from NCTI here or me by email

So, if you need to know what kind of notice you need for general meeting in Darwin, or whether you can appoint a strata manger in Hobart, or what you need to do raise levies in Surfers Paradise …. go to the NCTI Guide.

And, keep supporting NCTI in its efforts to bring strata stakeholders from all over Australia together.
