That’s lots and lots of Lots

How many strata title lots are there in NSW ?   And, how many strata title schemes does it take to make that many strata lots ?

Did I hear you say “too many !” or “who cares?”

Truth is that at the end of the March 2010 Quarter there were 697,450 strata title lots in 68,945 strata schemes in NSW.  Which is 0.6% more than the last Quarter.

Honestly, its less than you might think and there are a surprising number of small (less that 6 lots) strata title schemes in NSW.  And, very very few really large (more than 500 lots) strata schemes.


When graphed by scheme size they split into weird shaped bell curve like this.

I'll provide these figures an this graph each quarter from now on.
