From 1 January 2012 NSW First Home Plus exemptions
and concessions will be replaced by the First Home - New Home Scheme.
Under
the New Home Scheme agreements for sale under $500,000 will be eligible for
stamp duty concessions or
exemptions if it is for a new home or vacant land intended to be used as the
site for a new home. This changes
things from now when the concessions and exemptions apply to all properties.

So, why not buy a
new NSW home or apartment in 2012 and get some free stamp duty in NSW?
